Looking for a great place to eat for under $7? Well JJ's Red Hots is your place to go. Seriously, chips, a hot dog (probably the best hot dog I've ever had) and a drink for $6.49 after tax! Talk about eating out on a college budget.
That beauty is the JJ's "No.1" Red Hot Combo. The dog is garnished with JJ's Hot Relish, onions, mustard, and (my favorite) a pickle spear.
The "No.1" isn't JJ's only speciality hot dog. They have a wide variety of others, and if you can't decide on one, you can create your own. They also offer sausage dogs, onion rings, and nachos. Check out the menu for yourself HERE.
JJ's Red hot is located in the Dilworth area at 1514 East Blvd, which is a short walk, or drive from the Queens main campus and Freedom Park.
Another great thing about this "hot dog joint" (as they refer to it), is they have rooftop seating! This is a great place to go hangout and enjoy the beautiful weather Charlotte usually has to offer.
Need a good bite on the go? JJ's even has a take out window for when you're hungry and on the move. Eat with caution because these buns come stuffed with all your favorite toppings.
